HOW TO LOOK YOUNGER WITH MAKEUP | Great for women over 40!

  • I'm happy to see some youtubers doing beauty videos for more mature skin WOO!! But, you should NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT use shimmery products above the lid of your eye when you're over 40. It emphasizes the crepe-y skin. Also, most women over 40 have a sagging hood on their eye and you want to use a matte neutral to recede that…and shimmer on the lid to help lid POP.

  • We are so happy we found you! We love the it Cosmetics as well (Bye Bye Under Eye). The makeup you chose really looks pretty on you. The eyeshadow shades made your eyes pop! Karen & I are over 40 and take our makeup and skincare routine pretty serious. Thanks for all the tips! XO Lauren

  • Hi!! I'm 53 and because of a trauma that I've been trying to get over, I feel that my make-up techniques have suffered or forgotten!! I find that putting anything other than the foundation under my eyes, makes my wrinkles really stand out in a really bad way!! I'll try your way and see what happens!! Thanks!! Pam

I find that putting anything other than the foundation under my eyes, makes my wrinkles really stand out in a really bad way!! Because of being a diabetic, I can't get rid of the "bags" by putting something cold to shrink the veins. I'll copy you from scratch in this video and hope I can find a way!! oh ya!! Menopause has taken nearly all my eyebrows, so, I can't wait to try that as well!! Thanks!! Pam

  • Only found you now and just a few points I wanted to say-you have beautiful unlined skin and I don't feel you need the CC cream and powder on top of the Bye Bye Redness. As others have mentioned-the underage concealer looks too light and only highlights any puffiness and the highlighter in the inner corner is too bright and looks unnatural. If you want to look younger use as little makeup as possible (especially foundation, powder, eye pencil and mascara) as any makeup no matter how well applied adds years unless you're in your 70s/80s. This is meant as constructive criticism and hope it's taken that way :-)

  • Hi, new sub here 🙂 I really appreciate your channel, just found you – I have so much red in my complexion now, and you're the first person on YT I've found that I could really relate to. Awesome.

  • Also have you tried the under eye brightening powder from bare minerals? Did it work if you did? I'm thinking about buying it but it's so much money. Thanks for being a real person for us, you are much more relatable for my age.

  • Pretty lady 🙂  However.. I do agree with a few of the comments below pertaining to the under eye area.  Need to add a little bit of matte in that area to complete your look. Gorgeous still though!

  • I love your sense of humor, we can't take ourselves too seriously, right! Also I've found I'm drawn to humble and a little silly YouTube "stars", be careful in NOT putting yourself down.Your beautiful, own it!

  • Beautiful and entertaining. I am also very red and will try the product you mentioned. Thanks for sharing. I am always looking for products to even my skin tone. You are good at this, keep at it!

  • had to stop in my tracks…..Hmmm your foundation is way too orange for your face as its a different color to your neck and yes the under eye looks way too much but if its the camera doing it then that's good……..now back to the video

  • Don't put yourself down.. I see absolutely nothing wrong with your before shot, don't ever apologize for being who you are. Your a human being not a barbie doll, so you should have some texture to your face. You look great and not just for your age like people tend to say. How about she just looks great..period. Thank you for your kind tips! What beautiful makeup.
